Flame Control No. 20-20 Flat Latex Paint is available in White and Black and is manufactured in accordance with U.S. Federal Specification TT-P-001932. This product is designed for use on interior surfaces where it is either necessary or preferred to reduce the surface burning characteristics of the substrate. It dries quickly to a flat matte finish having the appearance of a conventional flat paint. When exposed to heat or flame, No. 20-20 intumesces (puffs up) forming a dense cellular foam layer which reduces the penetration of heat, thus retarding flame spread. May be tinted at 2 ounces of colorant per gallon maximum.
